The oldest instrument
The oldest known instrument is fifty thousand years old neanderthal flute. It was carved from a bone of a cave bear. It is made form femur bone. Some scientists still consider that it is just a piece of bone which had been chewed by hyenas. However it is not very likely because the flute has four holes with four different pitches, which match notes form traditional scale which is used today. It was made by neanderthals, it shows us that they could wrap their heads around subtract humanactivity such as making music. Now the flute is in Slovenian National Museum. You can observe it in there.
