 Guitar is very popular instrument mostly thanks to how versatile it is. You can play almost every song on the guitar because of how it is built. Back and sides of the instrument are usually made with rose Wood. The top of the guitar is made out of spruce which some times is switched to cedar or redwood. Neck of the guitar (part between fourteenth and twelfth frets) is constructed from mahogany, and the fingerboard should be made out of ebony but rosewood is often used as a less expesive substitute. Strings are made from metal, which is usually steel. You should always check what materials guitar which you want to buy is made from, because different woods may distort the sound. 

 As we all know playing an instrument is beneficial. However not all of us actually can name characteristics which are enhanced because of instrument playing. Some of them are obvious, other ones not do much. Playing an instrument decreases age rated hearing loss. It was found in a study where old musicians and young people were listening to complex sounds. Both groups brains responded in a simillar way. When you play on instrument you make your reaction time shorter, because you train yourself to do this when practicing in order to be able to play better. Practicing an instrument improves your memory capability which is trained during practice. Playing an instrument is very beneficial, even tough many people know about this they still do not play any instrument. 

 It may surprise you that the most popular instrument in the world is piano. Some of its popularity was gained because of how versatile it is. This instrument is played in every type of music. It is also not to hard to play. Of course if you want to play it proffesionally you will need to spend more time on it, but basics are very simple. You can play piano by itself or with other instruments. Both ways it will sound great. If you want your children to play it, in order for them to be very good, you need to mąkę the play even as early as six years old (that is the age recommended by experts). You should buy them a traditional piano. 

 There are three main types of instruments: percussion instruments, wind instruments, stringed instruments. Percussion instruments make sound by some part of them being hit by your hand and or other object. You play on wind instruments by blowing air into them. The sound in string instruments is made by pulling and realising or hitting strings. The most popular of percussion instruments is drumset, the most popular of wind instruments is trumpet and the most popular of string instruments is piano. Usually people who do not play proffesionally, just for themselfes, go for string instruments cause they seem the most versatile and nice sounding. They choose instruments such as piano and guitar.

 Word music comes from Greek and means art of muses. It derives from ancient Greek goddesses, muses which would supposedly give people ideas for art, poetry and music. Throughout all recorded history music was present. Instruments are objects which are made to or are used to make music. Some historians think that first instruments were flutes made from animal bone whick are about 37000 years old, however other scholars suggest that first instruments had to be made from objects which were used every such as drums made from pots or bows which could be played in a simmilar way as modern guitar. The oldest song which was discovered is about 4000 years old. Nowadays most instruments are made in huge factories by machines, but in the past they had to be handmade by people who were specialised in it.
